Who are we?
Student Edge is committed to giving South African students the best value for money on laptops and other digital products. By partnering with leading South African brands, Student Technology is able to provide exciting bundle deals that offer fantastic affordability, including free delivery nationwide.


How do I buy from Student Edge?
Making a purchase on Student Edge is easy. Simply browse the products you would like and click the “Add to Cart” button. Once you’re happy with your items, you can click on “My Cart” in the header menu and then “Proceed to Checkout” once you’ve checked your order items.

Fill out all of the necessary information on the checkout page, including your shipping address if you want your order delivered to a different address and then select your payment method.
If you are paying with Intellicard or Sbux please follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order.


When will I receive my order?
We begin processing and shipping orders as soon as funds have cleared in our account. For Intellicard and Sbux this is almost immediate.
Delivery can take between 3 – 7 working days after the cash payment has cleared in our account depending on your location.

What is the definition of “working day”?
Working Days means days in which business is open to work.
This means that we are open during weekdays, during normal office hours, and not on weekends or public holidays.

Our office hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Fridays: 08:00 – 16:00

Closed on Weekends and Public Holidays.


What is your return policy for defective products?
Please email support@studentedge.co.za or call 010 023 0006 if you experience any problems with your purchases. Out support team will be happy to assist and advise you on the next steps.

If you experience an out-of-box failure, please contact us with the following information:
The Box ID/Serial Number
The method purchased i.e. online/at campus
The invoice number


I ordered a bundle but only half of it was delivered, what’s going on?
Sometimes the products in our bundles ship from different warehouses depending on supply. You should receive a second package within 48 hours. If not, please contact us immediately. You will no be required to pay extra for additional delivery.


What does my warranty cover?
VOLKANO
All of our Volkano products carry a one year (12 month) guarantee against factory defects, should you experience any factory-related problems with a Volkano product please return the product in its original packaging with your purchase / invoice number and we will repair or replace the product for you.

KINGSONS
All of our Kingsons Bags carry a limited lifetime warranty against factory defects, should you experience any factory-related problems with a Kingsons Bag please return the product in its original packaging with your purchase / invoice number and we will repair or replace the product for you.

PNY / TRANSCEND
All PNY and Transcend devices carry a one year (12 month) guarantee against factory defects, should you experience any factory-related problems with a PNY or Transcend device, please return the product in its original packaging with your purchase / invoice number and we will repair or replace the product for you.

Where are the drivers for my laptop?
All of our HP laptops are HP certified products, and as such, all drivers can be obtained from HP: https://support.hp.com/za-en/drivers

My order via IntellMali hasn’t been approved because my institution hasn’t approved Student Edge. What now?
We are an authorized merchant with IntelliMali. If your institution is not listed on our site, please contact your Financial Aid office and request for them to have Student Edge made available. The Financial Aid office at your institution will liaise with IntelliMali to ensure that your institution is listed.


Where can I find your stores?
Our head office is located in Johannesburg. In order to keep costs low and to offer the deals we have available, Student Edge does not have any physical stores. From time to time we may have kiosks or pop up shops at universities, but our online shop is open 24/7. Like our Facebook page to learn where our next kiosk will be, or simply order online and have your package delivered to your door!


What are your trading hours?
We operate from Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM.
Any orders placed outside of working hours, will be attended to during the next business day.
